Never underestimate the import of scale, Malik Anderson certainly has not. On the corner of 49th Street and 7th Avenue in Times Square the 20-year-old Brooklyn nativeโs latest advertising campaign for Tom Ford has assumed larger-than-life proportions. Malikโs fronted prestigious campaigns, heโs walked runways for celebrated designers, but the gravity of a billboard in his own town consumes all that, all that!

GINA
โShe was worth every moment,โ reads the pulsating Nasdaq Tower beyond a beaming Gina Bucherich, creator of the new fragrance Baby Doll Blush by GโDivine. As moments go, this is up there for the Divine medical spa. โAs I stand in the heart of Times Square, gazing at our campaign with a sense of pride swelling in my chest, Iโm reminded of the journey that brought me here. Itโs moments like these that make all the hard work worthwhile.โ
DEDE
Dede Mansro hails from Ghana by way of the Bronx (shouts E 167th!). She began modeling a year ago and by no accident finds herself fronting three advertising campaigns. On this particular sunny afternoon in August we caught up with Dede along E Houston Street in Manhattan opposite of her larger-than-life, 55-by-75 foot Calvin Klein campaign by photographer Stef Mitchell and stylist Sydney Rose Thomas. In world of vapidity, genuine, unadulterated emotion ranks supreme. Dede, the world is yours, donโt settle for anything less.
