TOM FORD FOR GUCCI
With his breakthrough collection as the Creative Director of Gucci on 1 March 1995, designer Tom Ford — along with his chief collaborator, the visionary stylist Carine Roitfeld — changed the course of fashion forever, ushering in a sleek, chic, and dangerously sexy new look not only for the Italian luxury house, but for fashion itself.
Reimagining the fittings which took place in the days leading up to the show itself, and paying homage to Roitfeld’s transformative styling of some of Ford’s most influential designs, these looks in jewel-toned satin, car-finish patent leather, faux fur and velvet prove just as jaw-dropping today as they were thirty years ago.
